Following the principle that ecological area occupies one-third of the zone and taking “city is scenery” as the overall developing concept, Qingdao High-tech Zone has been refining its city plan, and continuously upgrading parks, water systems and green areas. With the rapid growth of population, the commerce, transportation, cultural and sports facilities of the zone have improved a lot. In order to achieve high-quality development with environmental protection, the zone has integrated industrial development and park construction, promoting the leading industries to be more innovative, more low-carbon and more eco-friendly.
