Tencent Holdings may announce a merger with Sogou this week. Tencent Kandian, the company's cross-platform news feed service unit, will absorb most of the business and employees of the search engine.

Sogou will no longer operate as an independent brand but will be integrated into Tencent Kandian. Tencent Kandian’s recruitment is currently suspended. The head count will be adjusted after the announcement.
