It is named because its shape resembles a crescent moon. The water depth of The Moon Spring is about 3 meters. It is very rare that it has not been buried because it has been surrounded by mountains for thousands of years. It was designated as a national key scenic spot in 1994, attracting millions of people to visit the crescent Spring on Sounding Sand Mountain every year. (Photo by Wang Binyin/CNSPHOTO)
